Food Collection for Buena Vista Families
Now Through March 18th
Buena Vista, our neighborhood school, is looking to provide meals for families in need during spring break when students will not be eating at school. We are collecting non-perishable foods to help meet this need. Look for a box in the foyer. Thank you for helping serve our community!
Guest Week is Coming!
Mark your calendars for Guest Week April 9th-15th. During this week we provide shelter for homeless families in our church building. Volunteers are needed throughout the week. Sign-ups are in the foyer.
We are particularly looking for someone to help oversee crafts and activities for the children who will be staying with us. Please talk to Richard Davis if you may be able to help in this area.
We are starting the process of updating our picture board located on the wall outside of the library. Charlie Litchfield will be available in the foyer to take photos of individuals and families. Our desire is to getting updated photos as well as new photos of those not already represented on the board.
Over the past several years, through the generous gifts provided by our body, we have been blessed to complete two much-needed inhouse projects: the purchase of new chairs for the sanctuary and new carpet throughout much of the church.
Our last major upgrade project is to improve the sound quality in the sanctuary and enhance our video projection system. The total cost for this would be $28,744 and we currently have raised $21,120 towards this project, leaving $7,624 for completion.
We would ask you to prayerfully consider joining us a with a year-end gift to complete this project. - The Elders
E-Giving for the Church
There is now an opportunity for people in our church to give their gifts and offerings electronically either on a one-time or recurring basis. Gifts can be withdrawn from a person's checking account through this means without having to write out checks. Forms are available on the counter in the foyer. If you would like to use this method, fill out the form and mail or deliver it to the church office.
One Hope Prayer Initiative
Our Church is partnering with 30 other churches in our area to pray for our community and churches. EBF will be praying for 24 hours on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Please sign up in the foyer for a half hour or hour slot. Talk to Katie Roberts if you have questions.
