Thank You, Boy Scouts!
Thank you to Boy Scout Troop 428 and leaders Tina and Travis for Fall cleanup around the church. The leaves were raked up from in front of the church, the parking lot cleaned and weeds pulled from the fence line in the Northwest corner of the property.
Intro to EBF Class
First Three Wednesdays in November (1st, 8th, 15th)
Ever wondered what makes EBF ‘tick’? Why do we exist, what do we really believe, what is our leadership structure and how do we minister to others? These are some of the questions that will be addressed by Pastors Richard and Rich during this engaging series of 3 one hour ‘Intro to EBF’ classes.
- A soup dinner will be served at the beginning of each class.
- Sign up list in Foyer.
- An opportunity to learn more and ask questions.
Questions? Contact Rich Carroll at 485-2301.
Each year we provide boxes of full Thanksgiving dinners (for 6) for those here at EBF and for families in need at Buena Vista, our neighborhood elementary school. Each box costs $27 for a full Thanksgiving meal. There are two ways you can help in this ministry.
- Let us know if you or someone else in our body would like a box. Just write your name and phone number on the bulletin response card and we will contact you.
- Donate. Make out a check in the amount you’d like to give and mark “Thanksgiving boxes” in the memo line.

E-Giving for the Church
There is now an opportunity for people in our church to give their gifts and offerings electronically either on a one-time or recurring basis. Gifts can be withdrawn from a person's checking account through this means without having to write out checks. Forms are available on the counter in the foyer. If you would like to use this method, fill out the form and mail or deliver it to the church office.
EBF Outreach Team!
We are forming an EBF Outreach Team...and we want YOU!
Let's bless the Lord by preaching the good news of Jesus Christ to the unsaved. Evangelism can be daunting alone but exhilarating when done together. EBF is forming an Outreach Team so we can do it together! You may think you are too shy, too old, too young, too dignified, not theological enough, not clever enough, not capable enough, etc. But this is more about what God is willing to do through His willing people. We are thinking of a group who want to work together to do public outreach. This will take various forms such as International Student picnics/hikes/outings, VBS, County fair gospel booth, literature distribution, public preaching, visitation of Retirement centers, or... Most of the outreach will occur in the summer but we want to start gathering a team now for prayer, vision, bonding, planning, and some Spring outreach!
“Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” Romans 10:13-15
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. Romans 1:15-16

We would like to update the pictures posted by the EBF Library. This is a helpful tool in placing a name with a person. Please see Kim Wenger before or after the service to have your picture taken.
Benevolent Fund Replenishing
There have been several needs within our body that have depleted our benevolent fund over the last 6 months. If you would like to help meet some of the basic needs of those seeking help, please make out your tax-deductible gift to EBF and write “Benevolent Fund” in the memo line. Thank you.
Musicians and Technicians Wanted!
The EBF Worship Ministry is seeking musicians, as well as technicians for running sound and video during our worship services. If you play guitar, piano, bass, drums, or can sing, or if you play another orchestral or band instrument as well, we’d love to hear from you. If you have skills with computers or simply enjoy listening to and studying the sounds of music, we might have a place for you in our Tech Team. If you have skills and a desire to serve the lord in this way, contact Neil Patton for more information.
One Hope Prayer Initiative
Our Church is partnering with 30 other churches in our area to pray for our community and churches. EBF will be praying for 24 hours on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Please sign up in the foyer for a half hour or hour slot. Talk to Katie Roberts if you have questions.
